Demario (Chucky) Deon Conner Jr.
CARY, Miss.(VDN) — Demario (Chucky) Deon Conner Jr., was born on December 6, 2006 in Vicksburg, MS to Lashell Shavon Jackson and Demario Deon Conner Sr.
At an early age he professed his faith in Jesus Christ at Mt. Buria M.B. Church in Cary, MS. Demario transitioned from this life on January 9, 2026 in Anguilla, MS.
Demario was an honor graduate of the South Delta High School class of 2025. He was an outstanding high school football player, who signed with Mississippi Delta Community College with a full football and academic scholarship. Demario was enrolled in Delta Tech in Horn Lake to start his college career as an Electrician. He was also employed with Fed Ex in Memphis, TN. He always had a smile on his face and loved spending time with his younger siblings, family, and friends.
Demario was predeceased by his great grandparents, Geraldine and Colee Jackson Jr. and Hattie Lee and Herman Martin, grandmother Mary Conner, uncle Samuel Jackson, aunts Marie Conner, Carolyn Martin, and Lucille Martin, and cousin Timmy Myles.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his parents, Lashell Jackson (Van) of Greenville, MS and Demario Conner Sr. (Precious) of Southaven, MS ; Six Siblings: Braylon Stamps, Vonsha Stamps, and DeMichael McKnight all of Greenville, MS; Taylor Conner of Vicksburg, MS; Jaqeria Gibbs of Rolling Fork, MS; and Samari Gibbs of Horn Lake, MS. Demario also is survived by his grand parents Karla Jackson (AL) of Hopkinsville, KY, George Martin of Chicago, IL and Eddie Moore of Cary, MS; Great Grandparents: Luvenia Conner and Charlie Conner of Cary, MS; Three Aunts: Marsha Haywood of Jefferson City, MO, Temperance Evans of Jackson, MS,and E’dayzia Jones of Jackson, MS; Four Uncles: Orlando Martin, of Jefferson City, MO, Kendrick Conner of Norman, OK, Edward Bush of Dallas, TX and Demarcus Miles of Southaven, MS. He will be greatly missed by special aunt, Brenda Jackson; God mother, Latrina Chambers of Jackson, MS; God brother, Daniel Watkins Jr, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026 at Mt. Buria M.B. Church at 1 p.m. in Cary.
