Disney date night pairs wine, fine dining at Cedar Grove

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — The Inn at Cedar Grove invites guests to a magical “Disney Date Night” wine dinner on Wednesday, May 21, at 6 p.m., featuring a curated menu inspired by iconic Disney fine dining locations and wines with a connection to the Disney family.

Selections will include wines from Silverado Vineyards, once owned by Walt Disney’s widow, Lillian, and daughter, Diane Disney Miller. Additional pairings will feature labels from MacMurray Ranch and Fess Parker Wines.

The themed dinner includes culinary highlights inspired by:

• Harambe Market at Disney’s Animal Kingdom grilled corn
• Le Cellier Steakhouse in Epcot’s Canada Pavilion cheddar cheese soup
• Victoria & Albert’s at the Grand Floridian lamb
• Napa Rose at the Grand Californian short ribs

The cost is $80 per person with wine pairings and $65 without. Reservations for the Disney date night are required and can be made by calling 601-636-1000.

Local Amy Cassidy will perform aerial silks, a type of aerial acrobatics performed suspended by a special fabric, live during the dinner beginning at 6:20 p.m.
