Fundraiser Event at Medgar and Angela Scott Foundation in Vicksburg

Vicksburg’s Medgar and Angela Scott Foundation will host a fundraiser event from August 4 to August 6 at 2710 Sherman Avenue. The event aims to raise funds for a worthy cause while offering various activities and food options to attendees.

Friday, August 4:

• Dominoes tournament from 6 PM onwards (18 and older)
• Entry fee: $10
• Single elimination format, with the option to buy back into the tournament for $10
• Food available for purchase

Saturday, August 5:

• BBQ plates available from 10 AM to 4 PM or until sold out
• Price: $15 for one meat plate, $20 for two meat plates
• $5 combo deal for a burger or hot dog with chips and a beverage
• Free cotton candy and $2 sno cones
• Spades tournament from 6 PM onwards (18 and older)
• Entry fee: $20 per team
• Single elimination format, with the option to buy back into the tournament for $20
• Food available for purchase

Sunday, August 6 (Jazz Brunch):

• Time: 10 AM to 4 PM
• Pre-purchased tickets required: $65.00
• Menu items include fried/baked fish, fried shrimp, grits, shrimp and grits, waffles, pancakes, made-to-order eggs, omelets, fried/baked chicken, sausage, bacon, rice, country potatoes, fried lobster tails, crab pasta salad, green salad, and more.

Raffle Prizes:

• Samsung 75″ LED Smart TV (blue) – 1 ticket for $5.00
• $500 Visa card (green) – 1 ticket for $5.00
• Sony PS5 console (yellow) – 1 ticket for $5.00
• Private chef dinner for 4 (red) – 1 ticket for $5.00
• Drawings will be held on August 6, and winners need not be present to claim their prizes.
