Good Shepherd Seeks Volunteers for Elf Magic Program

VICKSBURG, Miss. – Good Shepherd of Vicksburg is looking for a few more elves to help with the organization’s Elf Magic Program.
Through the help of both donations and volunteers, the Elf Magic program has “elves” adopt local children in the Vicksburg-Warren County area to provide Christmas presents. The program serves nearly 300 children annually.
“We just can’t have it, can we?! The Grinch steal Christmas? Not in Vicksburg, MS! Not in our community! We are looking for a few more elves who have big hearts,” said Cindy McCarley, Executive Director for Good Shepherd. “We’d love to help you make someone’s Christmas.”
The deadline has been extended to Monday, December 16 to give their elves a little more time to make the magic happen. With the extension, their new distribution date is now December 19.
