Lake Providence school teacher missing

LAKE PROVIDENCE, La.(VDN) — A Lake Providence school teacher has been reported missing, and authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating him.

Carlton Keyon Osborn, of Lake Providence, has been missing since late December, according to the East Carroll Parish Sheriff’s Office. Osborn was last seen on or before Dec. 23, 2025.

Osborn is described as a Black male with brown eyes, standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He resides at 1225 Hanford St. in Lake Providence.

Investigators believe Osborn may be in the Atlanta, Georgia, area and say he is known to drive a blue 2014 Toyota Camry.
