Law Enforcement Agencies Conduct Operation

VICKSBURG, MS – On Thursday, October 3, 2024, officers of the Vicksburg Police Department, along with deputies of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, and agents from the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, Mississippi Department of Corrections, and the Alcoholic Beverage Control conducted a joint operation throughout Vicksburg and Warren County.
Activities centered on traffic enforcement, narcotics enforcement, and the serving of arrest warrants. Seven persons were taken into custody and ten citations issued by Vicksburg Police officers during the four-hour period.
Among those arrested are:

Kenneth Rashad Ross, 34, of Vicksburg, charged with Possession of Controlled Substances after marijuana, cocaine, and fentanyl were found in his vehicle after a traffic stop on Harrison Street.
Ross appeared before Judge Angela Carpenter in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Friday, October 4, 2024. His bone was set at $25,000 and he was bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury.

Desmond King, 38, of Vicksburg was charged with Felony Possession of Marijuana following a traffic stop on Halls Ferry Road.
Appearing in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Friday, October 4, 2024, King’s bond was set at $25,000 by Judge Angela Carpenter. He was bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury.

Ojerel Hagan, 40, of Vicksburg was arrested on a warrant for Forgery held by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office after his vehicle was stopped for a traffic offense on Main Street.
