NOLA Christmasfest

NEW ORLEANS, LA – NOLA ChristmasFest, the region’s only indoor Christmas festival, is back and ready to usher in the holiday spirit. With only 75 days until Christmas, The New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center welcomes families to mark their calendars for the fun-filled winter wonderland presented by Coca-Cola. Families are now able to purchase tickets, where they can look forward to enjoying the ice-skating rink, daily “snow” falls and everyone’s favorite holiday characters. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., on Friday, Dec. 20, and the event runs through Monday, December 30.

“Over the past decade, we have seen NOLA ChristmasFest become one of our city’s most popular holiday celebrations,” said Michael J. Sawaya, Convention Center President and CEO. “This year, we’re excited to add new features to enhance the experience while keeping ticket prices unchanged. It means a lot to us to be part of New Orleanians’ holiday traditions as we bring together families, friends and neighbors to embrace the joy and spirit of the season.”

Returning with the theme “Best in Snow”, the Convention Center invites locals and visitors to enjoy a variety of festive attractions including fan favorites the Big Blizzard Blast, the Kringle Carousel and the life-sized Gingerbread House. There will be live music, concessions, visits with Santa and his friends and more. New Orleans’ only ice-skating rink returns along with ice bocce and new this year a fourth ice slide. Also added this year, Merry Mini Golf and the Yuletide YoYo ride will enhance the enchantment of NOLA ChristmasFest’s 300,000 square feet of indoor holiday fun.

The popular Skating with Santa experience returns on Sunday, Dec. 22, 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Special tickets for this exclusive session cost $65 for adults and $45 for kids. These tickets sell out fast, so purchase yours soon to skate with Santa and enjoy hot cocoa, coffee, doughnuts and other delights – all before the doors open for entry to the first regular session of the day.
