One shot on Wabash

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — A male was shot in the upper thigh on Wabash Avenue off of Sky Farm in Vicksburg.

Just after 8:30 p.m., reports came in of a male suffering from a gunshot wound on Wabash Avenue off of Sky Farm in Vicksburg. According to radio traffic, a male was shot in the upper thigh. Multiple units with the Vicksburg Police Department and a fire medic unit were dispatched to the scene.

The first unit on scene reported that the bleeding was controlled, indicating the wound does not appear to be life-threatening.
