VICKSBURG, MS – Vicksburg native Alec Bailey aka Lil Bailey has signed his first record deal. Bailey recently announced his two-album deal with Alamo’s Distribution Company Santa Anna.

“This is just a start and I’m going to take advantage of this opportunity. But this is not the furthest I’m going because there’s a lot of work left to do,” Bailey said.

Although Bailey has been rapping his whole life, he began making music only just a year ago and has been blowing up on social media.

“In high school, people told me I should take it more seriously, but when I dropped my first song I realized how everybody liked it so I started putting real time, money, and effort into my dreams,” he added.

Lil Bailey’s first song was “Killswitch” and since releasing that single his name has become hot, especially with his unique freestyles. Bailey’s biggest hit is “Patrone Boyz” which has over a million streams followed by “What You Know” which has over 700,000.

Bailey has performed at shows in Canada, Atlanta, Alcorn State University, Texas, and Mississippi. He also opened up for rapper Big Yavo.

Over the last year, Bailey’s music career has excelled and he testified that he has more plans and is far from finished.

“I want to show everyone that people from Mississippi really have talent and I want to open the door for others,” Bailey said.

Bailey is a 2018 graduate of Vicksburg High School where he played football. He also played at Alcorn State University where he just graduated with his Master’s Degree in Business.

Bailey’s debut album will come out in November titled “Lil Bailey: My Story.” It will be a 17-song project about his life, showcasing his versatility from dance songs, motivational songs, love songs and also pain songs from all the ups and downs and trials he experienced.
