A log truck is on fire on the Big Black bridge on Highway 27 at the county line.
Just after 6 a.m. Warren County firefighters were dispatched to a vehicle fire. The first unit on scene reported it was a log truck and that the roadway would need to be closed.
About 30 minutes later an additional manpower page was sent requesting more fire fighters.
Hinds County also responded to the request for assistance and is sending two large tankers to assist.
