Currently, due to the drainage system in place, water erosion has damaged the timber of the retaining wall located under the center’s basement. The project entails adding a cement barrier to help maintain the stability of the structure. Additionally, further drainage system installments will be made to help prevent the issue moving forward.

According to engineering estimates the project was slated to cost $487,350. The submitted bid was over three times the estimated cost.

The Board voted unanimously to reject the bid and advertise again at a later date.
