Tamika Billings has been named Clinton Public School District’s first Director of Student Assessment and Student Services.

Billings, who is currently the Principal at Clinton Junior High School, will start her new position in the Fall 2024.

As the Director of Student Assessment and Student Services, Billings will oversee the coordination and implementation of student data in supporting district and school goals.

“Throughout my time as assistant principal and principal at Clinton Junior High School, I have been privileged to work alongside the best of the best,” Billings said to the Clinton Courier. “Clinton Junior High School stands out as a remarkable school, enriched by dedicated and outstanding teachers and students.”

“As I embark on my new role within CPSD, I am eager to work closely with all stakeholders in our schools and community,” she added. “I will continue to uphold and enhance our commitment to excellence.”

Billings has been in an administration role since 2009. She was formerly employed with the Vicksburg-Warren School District where she served as Assistant Principal at Warren Central High School and Principal at Beechwood Elementary.
