Byram man charged with the murder of Delilah Harris

CLINTON, Miss. (VDN) — A Byram man has been arrested for the murder of his girlfriend in her Clinton apartment. According to the coroner, she was shot multiple times.

On Monday, October 13, Clinton police responded to a call for a welfare check at the Windsor Village Apartments on Woodstone Road in Clinton. Interim Hinds County Coroner Jeremiah Howard said police discovered the body of Delilah Harris, 45. She had been shot multiple times.

On Thursday, after an initial investigation, Clinton Police announced that a Byram man, Antonio Trenell Myles, 40, was taken into custody and charged with murder and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.

After his initial court appearance, Myles was given a $1,000,000 bond for the murder charge and $75,000 for the weapons charge.

The investigation is ongoing.

At his initial appearance in Clinton Municipal Court, bond was set at $1,000,000 for the murder charge and $75,000 for the possession of a weapon by a convicted felon charge.
