Cattle Truck Accident on 1-20 Near Mound, LA

DELTA, Louisiana – A truck loaded with cattle is in the I-20 West median at the 177-mile marker.

According to local law enforcement, a cattle truck has left the roadway and is in the median near Mound, Louisiana. Traffic is being diverted from 1-20 to the Mound exit and then onto Highway 80 to bypass the accident.

The report states:

Overturned Loaded cattle truck in the median at the 177 Mile Marker West Bound. Traffic is backed up for miles! Left lane is still currently closed. Traffic is being diverted to the Mound exit to Hwy 80 until the scene is cleared. Please use caution & drive slowly through this area!
