Victim identified in Warren County crash that left one deceased

WARREN COUNTY, Miss. (VDN) — A 30-year-old has been identified as the victim in Sunday’s crash on Riley Road that left one dead. Thirty-year-old Trevon Dee, of Vicksburg, has been identified as the deceased.

According to multiple reports, the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded at approximately 10:23 a.m. to a single-vehicle crash on Riley Road where the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames. The single occupant of the truck was trapped, and the vehicle caught fire as a result of the accident. Firefighters worked to extinguish the flames, but the driver did not survive.

The crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
