16 year old killed in shooting; 13 year old wanted

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) —
A 16-year-old teen has died after being shot Friday night at New Main Apartments in Vicksburg, and police are searching for a 13-year-old wanted for questioning in connection with the shooting.
The Vicksburg Police Department identified Kingston Holly, 13, as the suspect. Holly is currently wanted for questioning, according to police.
Officers responded to New Main Apartments, 2727 Alcorn Drive, around 8:12 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, after receiving a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found the 16-year-old suffering from two gunshot wounds. The teenager later died from his injuries.
Preliminary information from police indicates the 16-year-old was shot by a 13-year-old male. Investigators are continuing to gather information and determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

The shooting remains under investigation, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
