Two indicted on child sex crimes in Warren County

Two men have been indicted on child sex crime charges in Warren County. Justin Cantrell faces sexual battery charges involving a minor, while Kendrick Britton is charged with molestation. Both are set to enter pleas or proceed to trial.

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) —

Two men have been indicted on child sex crime charges by a Warren County grand jury.

The August grand jury found sufficient evidence for the Warren County District Attorney’s Office to proceed with cases against Justin Cantrell and Kendrick Britton.

Britton has been charged with molestation. According to the indictment, the alleged offense occurred sometime between August 2025 and March 2026.

Cantrell has been charged with sexual battery involving a victim under the age of 14. According to the indictment, the alleged offense occurred sometime between October 2024 and October 2025.

Britton and Cantrell will have the option to enter pleas to the charges or proceed to trial.
