David Lee Kelly, Jr

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Funeral services for David Lee Kelly, Jr., are to be held on Saturday, Nov. 22, in the chapel of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home at 11 a.m., with the Reverend Richard Caples officiating; interment shall follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 21, in the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m..

David Lee Kelly, Jr., a native of Vicksburg, passed away Monday, Nov. 10, in Indianola, Miss., following a brief illness.  He was 59.  He had worked as a welder and machinist. He was preceded in death by his son, Alex Jamal Roby.

He leaves to cherish his memories his parents James Henry Kelly , Sr. and Walterine Jordan Kelly-DeBouse of Vicksburg; his 2 sons David Lee Kelly, Jr. of Greenwood, Miss., and Otis Hudson of Greenwood, Miss.; his brothers James Kelly, Sammy Kelly, Jason Kelly, and Cedric Kelly; his sisters Synethia Kelly and Subrina McDowell both of Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends and relatives including his life long partner Tracey Roby.
