Extra Table to benefit Warren County

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Grab a friend and your phone to head to support two causes with one event. Extra Table will help feed needy families this holiday season by hosting a “Text-a-Thon Party” this Friday, Nov. 7, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Host by Lori Fagan, Martha Allen Price, Chris Rials and Shelly Tingle, the event will be held at the Rose of Clay Street Champagne Suite, 717 Clay Street, Apt. 3S (Above John Houston’s). Two campaigns will benefit from the event, Meals Matter and Give’em a Bird

Guests are encourages to bring a friend and their phones to use their personal networks to support the “Give’s a Bird” campaign- a holiday fundraiser where guests will text friends, family and coworkers to donate $15, providing three whole chickens for families in need this Thanksgiving.

Whether its birds or boxes of nutritious shelf-stable food, Warren County residents will benefit from the event. Funds raised during the evening will stay in Warren County to feed now and throughout the year.
