Magnolia Lodging breaks ground on dual-branded Marriott hotel in Vicksburg

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Magnolia Lodging LLC has broken ground on a new dual-branded Fairfield Inn & Suites and TownePlace Suites by Marriott hotel at 4105 Clay St. in Vicksburg, beside the Waffle House on Clay. The development will add two distinct yet complementary lodging options under one roof and is projected to open in winter 2026.
Owned by Magnolia Lodging LLC and managed by Insignia Hotel Management LLC, the property will feature 109 rooms designed to serve a variety of guests. The Fairfield Inn & Suites portion will offer 54 rooms, including three suites. The TownePlace Suites will include 55 rooms, with 49 extended-stay studios for longer visits.

Insignia Hotel Management will oversee daily operations.
