Mike Kavanaugh Charity Clay Shoot Postponed Due to Weather

VICKSBURG, Miss. — The Mike Kavanaugh Memorial Charity Sporting Clay Shoot, originally scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22, has been postponed to Saturday, April 19, 2025, due to flooding on the course and the anticipation of additional rainfall this week.

“Due to areas of flooding on the course and the anticipation of additional rainfall this week, this year’s event will be postponed,” said Patty Meekus, President of the Southern Heritage Air Foundation.

The shoot will still take place at the Turcotte Shooting Range in Canton, Miss.

Registration remains open through the event date. Proceeds from the Mike Kavanaugh Memorial Charity shoot will support the foundation’s Educational and Veteran Programs. For more information, contact 318-574-2731.
