Old Court House Museum’s Spring Flea Market less than a month away

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — The Old Court House Museum’s Spring Flea Market is set for Saturday, April 26, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in downtown Vicksburg.
The Spring Flea Market is open to the public and will feature more than 150 vendors offering a wide variety of items, including handcrafted woodworking, pottery, toys, antiques, boutique clothing, skincare products, artwork, jewelry, plants, baked goods and specialty coffee.
“This is a great opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy some amazing food, and support local artisans and vendors,” said Jordan Rushing, director and Curator of the Old Court House Museum.
Visitors can enjoy food from local vendors while browsing the market and reconnecting with friends and neighbors.
Rushing also encourages attendees to visit the Old Court House Museum during the event.
“The museum is a Vicksburg landmark and a treasure trove of local history. We have some incredible new exhibits this year that highlight the rich heritage of our city,” he said.
New exhibits include:
- Native American pottery
- The history of Anshe Chesed and Vicksburg’s Jewish community
- Military artifacts and contraband weapons from World War I and World War II
- The legacy of baseball in Vicksburg
“We’re excited to welcome both new and returning guests,” Rushing said. “There’s always something new to discover.”
