Ryan Williams wins his first game as Head Football Coach at TA

TALLULAH, La (VDN). — Vicksburg native Ryan Williams earned his first victory as a head football coach Friday night, guiding Tallulah Academy to a 66-26 win over Franklin Academy.
Williams officially took over as the Trojans’ head coach in June. In addition to football, he also serves as the school’s head baseball coach and athletic director.
Before stepping into the top role, Williams was Tallulah’s offensive coordinator and previously coached at Porter’s Chapel Academy in Vicksburg.
A graduate of Warren Central High School, Williams played under longtime Viking coaches Robert Morgan Sr. and Curtis Brewer. He now carries that experience into his leadership at Tallulah, where he is tasked with overseeing multiple programs.
Stats from Friday’s game will be posted as they become available.
