POPLARVILLE, Miss. (VDN) — Three people were arrested Wednesday evening in Poplarville after a traffic stop led deputies to methamphetamine hidden inside a sweet tea container, according to the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office.
On Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025, at about 7:20 p.m., a Pearl River County patrol deputy conducted a traffic stop on a maroon SUV in the 1400 block of South Main Street in Poplarville for a traffic violation.
The deputy identified the occupants as Briana Harris, 27, Patrick Russell, 33, both of 58 Lanell Odom Road, Poplarville, and Javaze Bowden, 29, of 10 Moore Road, Poplarville.
