Video: MSU kicker knocks down a 73-yard field goal

Mississippi State University kicker Brandon Ruiz nailed a 73-yard field goal during a workout on Monday.

The video was uploaded on his Twitter account for everyone to see the leg strength the Bulldog has during the offseason.

Ruiz went a perfect 24 for 24 on extra points last season and finished 10 of 12 in field goal attempts for the Bulldogs under Mike Leach. He joined the Bulldogs in 2020 after transferring from Arizona State.

Ruiz and the Bulldogs will open their season taking on Louisiana Tech on September 4, 2021.
