$50,000 Check presented to Animal Shelter

Friends of the City of Vicksburg Animal Shelter present a check for $50,000 to the City of Vicksburg Animal Shelter

In a presentation today at the City of Vicksburg Board of Mayor and Alderman meeting, the Friends of the City of Vicksburg Animal Shelter gave a check for $50,000. Several events and fundraiser have been held to raise the money which will be earmarked for new cages to be used in the new facility on 61 South.

Missy Arnold and Cherry Dabney Robbins presented the check on behalf of the Friends of the Animal Shelter and the many people, organizations and businesses that contributed to the fund. Accepting for the shelter was Kacie Tingle Lindsey.
