Vicksburg family seeking help from the public after purchasing a home

After falling on hard times a while back, one Vicksburg family was able to find a home and begin building a better life. Unfortunately, the home is not in great condition and the family is now graciously asking the community to donate materials to make life more suitable.

Although the family now has a place to call their home, the house suffers from a lot of damage to the walls, flooring, and leftover debris.

The family is asking for materials such as sheetrock, plywood, windows, 2 by 4’s, insulation, front and back doors, bathtub trim, hot water heater, and a toilet.
