Book signing tonight

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Join John Houston’s Fine Wine and Good Spirits tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 21, for a free book signing.

Beginning 5 p.m. the event will be held on the 2nd floor at 717 Clay Street, Vicksburg, MS 39180. Meet Vicksburg native William Ferris and Jianqing (John) Zheng, whose new book, Soulful Dancer, pairs Ferris’s powerful photographs with Zheng’s moving poetry. Attendees are required to purchase the book prior to signing.

Event goers can stick around until 6 p.m. to partake in the Wine and Spine reception. The cost is $25 to attend and proceeds include a signed copy of their book and contribution from Lorelei Books to the English department at Mississippi Valley State University, chaired by Dr. Zheng.
