BOS approves new marker for county courthouse

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — The Warren County Board of Supervisors approved a new marker to be placed at the county courthouse during a regular meeting held Monday, Dec. 1.

The state historical marker is sponsored by Making Their Mark and will be at no cost for the county. The significance is to honor 12 Black men elected from Warren County following the Civil War.

The board also unanimously approved the following agenda without further discussions:
