Vicksburg native Jeremy Meekins nominated for Atlanta Charitable Service Award

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Vicksburg native Jeremy Meekins has been nominated for the Atlanta Agent’s Choice Awards in the Charitable Service Award category. The nomination was announced earlier this week as real estate professionals across the Atlanta area prepare to vote for some of the industry’s top brokers, developers, lenders, rookies and other professionals.

“It’s truly humbling to be recognized among so many outstanding real estate professionals in our community who are making a difference,” Meekins said in a social media post.

In addition to working as a realtor in the Atlanta area, Meekins continues to give back to his hometown of Vicksburg each summer.

For nearly a decade, Meekins has hosted his annual Celebrity Basketball Game and Back-to-School Drive, an event that has helped provide school supplies and book bags to thousands of children in Vicksburg and surrounding communities. Last year, his organization distributed more than 1,000 book bags.

With enough votes, Meekins could earn a feature in Atlanta Agent Magazine. Supporters can vote for him through the official awards link.
