MSDH reports Flu cases remain stable
JACKSON, Miss., (VDN) — The number of influenza-like illness cases remained stable for another week, according to the Mississippi State Department of Health’s (MSDH) Respiratory Surveillance Report, which tracks weekly respiratory illnesses to identify statewide trends.
For the week ending December 6, the most recent week available, the overall state ILI rate (2.5 percent) remained constant from the previous week (2.7 percent) and was lower than this time last year (4.1 percent).
