Two Claiborne County men reported dead in Mississippi Prisons

CLAIBORNE COUNTY, Miss.(VDN) — Two Claiborne County men have died while serving sentences with the Mississippi Department of Corrections, officials confirmed.

Danny Wilson, 37, and Myron Ward, 37, were both reported deceased while in state custody. Wilson had been incarcerated since 2015 and was serving a life sentence at the time of his death.

Ward was found unresponsive in his cell earlier this month at the Wilkinson County Correctional Facility, according to available information. An autopsy has been ordered to determine his cause of death. Ward was incarcerated since 2017 where he was serving a 25 year sentence.
