Four Vicksburg natives earn Dean’s list honors at Delta State University

CLEVELAND, Miss.(VDN) — Four Vicksburg natives have earned Dean’s List honors at Delta State University.

Undergraduate students who complete at least 12 credit hours and maintain a grade point average between 3.50 and 3.79 are recognized on the Dean’s List at the university.

The following students from Vicksburg were named to the list: Morgan Alford, Addilyn Dickerson, Sabrina Smith and Satava Ross.

Delta State University is a four-year public institution with nearly 2,700 students representing most U.S. states and more than 35 countries. Founded as a teacher’s college, the university continues to maintain strong programs in teacher education while expanding its offerings in both traditional and specialized fields of study.

Programs such as the Delta Music Institute, the Commercial Aviation Department and the Center for Interdisciplinary Geospatial Information highlight the university’s commitment to meeting the evolving needs of students through industry-recognized academic programs.
