Adams named Administrator of the Year by VWSD

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — At the December meeting of the Board of Trustee of the Vicksburg Warren School District, Principal David Adams was recognized as the 2025-2026 VWSD District Administrator of the Year.

Adams is the Principal of Beechwood Elementary School in Vicksburg. The district said it was proud of Adams and his leadership at the school.

“Mr. Adams leads with high expectations, genuine care, and a steadfast commitment to student success. Through his visible presence, strong instructional vision, and collaborative leadership, he has fostered a school culture where students feel valued, staff feel supported, and families feel connected. His humility, professionalism, and dedication have helped Beechwood consistently thrive—academically and as a community,” stated the district in a social media post.

VWSD said Adams recognition was a well-deserved honor.
