Ben Brown helps Patriots power past Giants in Monday night win
VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Vicksburg native Ben Brown played a key role in the New England Patriots’ 33-15 victory over the New York Giants on Monday night. Brown, who earned the start at left guard just days after the team announced it, anchored an offensive line that helped push the Patriots to their 11th win of the season.
Starting on the left side of the line, Brown delivered strong protection for quarterback Drake Maye, who finished the night with 282 passing yards and two touchdowns. Brown’s consistency in pass protection allowed Maye to find his rhythm early and maintain control of the offense throughout the game.
The Patriots also leaned on their ground game, finishing with 119 rushing yards. Brown played a significant role in creating running lanes and sustaining drives that helped New England build and keep its lead.
The win elevated the Patriots to an NFL-best 11-2 record, making them the first team this season to reach 11 victories. New England enters its bye week with momentum and will return to action on Dec. 14 when it hosts the Buffalo Bills.
