Fatal Accident on I-20: Pregnant Woman and Unborn Child Tragically Lost

A Vicksburg area woman who was pregnant with a child died in an accident on I-20 July 4, 2024.

Chief Penny Jones indicated the investigation into the accident is still ongoing so the VPD is releasing only the basic information on the accident at this time.

Aramis Baker and her unborn child did not survive the accident. The driver of the vehicle, Javron Walker, survived, according to Chief Jones.
