Kadajai Allen Named Co-Captain at Alcorn State University

LORMAN, Miss. (VDN) — Alcorn State University proudly announces Kadajai Allen, a 2024 graduate of Vicksburg High School, as a co-captain for the 2025-26 cheer season.

Allen’s leadership and dedication to teamwork stood out during the competitive tryout process.

A former high school co-captain, she continues to prove that true leadership is earned through discipline, passion and character.

As co-captain, Allen will mentor teammates, promote school spirit and represent Alcorn with pride both on and off the field under the direction of head coach Dr. Timothy Queen.

Kadajai extends special thanks to her mother, JaQuita Keller, and her uncle, Kamen Wells, for their unconditional love and support throughout her cheer journey.

“I’m so honored to be chosen as a co-captain,” Allen said. “This team means so much to me, and I’m dedicated to giving my all, supporting everyone, working hard, and helping us grow stronger together. Let’s make this season our best one yet.”

With her drive and determination, Allen is ready to help lead the Brave Nation into another exciting season of excellence and spirit. She is a biology major(pre-med).
