McKenzie Cole: Miss Mississippi USA 2025

CHOCTAW, Miss. (VDN) — Three years ago, McKenzie Cole was crowned Miss Mississippi Teen USA. After a short break to launch her modeling career, Cole returned to pageantry at age 18 to compete at the highest level.
On Saturday, she was crowned Miss Mississippi USA 2025.

“I was completely shocked,” Cole said. “I just kept asking everyone if it was real because I wasn’t expecting to win but I’m so thankful to have this opportunity as the title holder.”
The competition, which ran from Thursday to Saturday, featured multiple rounds, including swimsuit and evening gown competitions. On Friday, Cole’s performance secured her a spot in the top 10. As the youngest contestant this year, she remained focused on her goal, staying committed to her organization, Steer to Success, which promotes youth empowerment and mentorship.
“It took a lot of hard work and dedication,” she said. “I began eating cleaner so I can look healthier and I was working out twice a day and interview prepped with my coaches who helped me with everything.”
Her efforts paid off when 2024 Miss Mississippi USA Kaylee Brooke McCollum crowned her as the successor. Cole will now represent Mississippi in the Miss USA Pageant.
In addition to her title, Cole is a college student studying business and cosmetology. She will make public appearances and is available for event requests.
Cole is the daughter of Josh and Michelle Cole.
