Mississippi couple arrested after the death of a 5-month-old child

Two people were arrested last week after the suspicious death of a baby in Biloxi.

Biloxi PD were called to Merit Health Hospital on Thursday after a couple brought their deceased five-month-old child to the emergency room. The ER staff found several injuries on the child which caused them to call law enforcement.

Summer Rose Hill, 20, and Takavian Keivon Gibbs, 21, were both arrested and charged with Child Abuse. Their bond was set at $500,000 each and they both were transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center.

Charges could be upgraded.
