Scottish Inn is currently in flames

Vicksburg, Miss.-The Scottish Inn in Vicksburg is currently in flames. Units from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and Vicksburg Fire Department quickly responded to the scene.

“At approximately 7:25 a.m. this morning, the Vicksburg Fire Department responded to a structure fire at the old Scottish Inn,” Fire Chief Derrick Stamps Sr. said. “While en route, crews observed thick smoke in the air. Upon arrival, firefighters found the office building completely engulfed in flames. They initiated a defensive fire attack to combat the blaze. The fire is currently ongoing.”

No official word on if anyone was inside the building.
