VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) —

A shooting took place on Sunday on Greenhill Road in Warren County. Around 2:50 a.m., the Warren County Sheriff’s Office received reports of shots fired in the area.

Soon after the shots fired call, a male showed up at Merit Health with a gunshot wound to the foot. According to WCSO, the individual provided inaccurate information on where he was shot. Investigators are also investigating property damage caused by the shooting.

This case is still under investigation and anyone with any information is encouraged to call the Sheriff’s Office at 601-636-1761.
