Summer Chef Series kicks off Saturday
Join the Summer Chef Series at Catfish Row Museum to hear from Chef Nick Wallace and others on food access and equity.
VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Catfish Row Museum will kick off its Summer Chef Series Saturday, June 27, beginning at 2 p.m.
The first of five events will feature Tyler Yarbrough (Partnership for a Healthier America / Rootswell, Clarksdale) and Chef Nick Wallace (Nick Wallace Culinary, Jackson) — two Mississippi voices reshaping how we think about food access, equity, and the table we set together.
The two chefs will discuss what it might look like to reshape the food system starting from the ground up. All of the conversations across the summer will be about Mississippi food, family, and what gets carried forward.
The events are sponsored by Visit Vicksburg, and all are free and open to the public. Catfish Row Museum is located at 913 Washington Street in downtown Vicksburg.
