Theresa Marie Wallace Tillman

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Theresa Marie Wallace Tillman went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2025.  She was 83.

Funeral services for Tillman are to be held on Friday, Jan. 9, at New Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dwayne E. Redmond officiating; interment shall follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 8, from 1p.m. until 3 p.m. at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home. 

She was preceded death by her parents Garfield and Ruby Wilkerson, and her daughter Denise Tillman Pitts.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Walter Tillman; her daughter, Charlinda Tillman of Aurora, IL;  three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
