Mildred Adele Gibson Stirgus

VICKSBURG, Miss.(VDN) — Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Adele Gibson Stirgus are to be held on Saturday, January 10 at W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home at 11 A.M. with Bishop John Williams officiating; under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, January 9 from 1- 6 with the family present from 5-6 P.M.

Mildred Adele Stirgus went to be with the Lord on Thursday January 1, 2026.  She was 68.  

She was a retired respiratory therapist.  

She was preceded death by her parents Aurelius and Dorothy Gibson Sr., and her sister Aurelia G. Gibson. 

She leaves to cherish her husband Wyane Stirgus, and her daughter Meredith Stirgus and her son Adam Stirgus, two brothers Aurelius Gibson, Jr. and John L. Gibson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
