VICKSBURG, Miss.(VDN) — Vicksburg native Trey Hall has signed with Old Dominion University, announcing his decision on social media Wednesday night.

Hall spent last season at Ole Miss, where he was redshirted after suffering an Achilles injury. Prior to his time with the Rebels, Hall starred at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, emerging as one of the program’s top running backs.

During his two-year tenure with the Bulldogs, Hall appeared in 20 games and rushed for 1,981 yards and 20 touchdowns.

Before his collegiate career, Hall was a standout at Warren Central High School under head coach Josh Morgan. He was named Vicksburg Daily News Offensive Player of the Year and selected to play in the Bernard Blackwell North-South All-Star Game. As a senior, Hall rushed for 1,009 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Hall will now play for head coach Ricky Rahne at Old Dominion. The Monarchs finished the 2025 season with a 10-3 record under Rahne.
