Vicksburg native Mincer Minor IV joins Itawamba CC football program

VICKSBURG, Miss.(VDN) — Vicksburg native Mincer Minor IV is continuing his football career at Itawamba Community College.

The 2026 season will mark Minor’s first official season with the Indians after spending his freshman year at Mississippi Delta Community College, where he played in the secondary.

While with the Trojans, Minor finished the 2025 season with 21 tackles, 11 pass deflections and one interception. He also averaged 11.8 yards per punt. At one point during the season, Minor led all Mississippi junior college players in pass deflections.

Minor is a 2025 graduate of Vicksburg High School, where he completed his varsity career under head coach Christopher Lacey.
