VICKSBURG, Miss – A booking officer with the Vicksburg Police Department has been arrested on felony charges of theft from a vehicle/auto burglary and being in possession of a stolen property, a handgun.

The theft took place in the city on January 29.
Richardson had been with the police department for almost a year and has a military background.

Richardson is suspended from the police department pending a hearing with the Mayor and Board of Aldermen on Monday, February 10, 2025.
