Longfellow wins trip to Cancun sponsored by Tommy’s BBQ
VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Lisa Longfellow was announced as the winner of a trip to Cancun. The trip is part of a raffle drawing fundraiser to support the Vicksburg Warren County Low-Cost Neuter Clinic.
Tommy’s BBQ, who generously donated the prize, hosted the drawing on Friday, Feb. 27. Longfellow is now the recipient of a 7-day stay at Villa De Palmar Cancun, a luxurious resort in Cancun, Mexico.
All proceeds went to the Vicksburg Warren County Low-Cost Neuter Clinic.
The winner will receive a week’s stay at Villa De Palmar Cancun, in a suite that sleeps four, with a beach view patio. This vast family resort has a multitude of amenities, including five gourmet restaurants, a grand pool, a kid’s pool, and a grocery/deli, should the lucky winner decide to take advantage of the ensuite kitchen. Every night there are activities at the resort, from themed nights to live bands!
Additionally, there are many excursions available, should you decide to explore the local area. Chitzin Itza, an ancient Mayan structure, and one of the “New Seven Wonders,” is just a bus ride away. There is also Isle Mujeres, a beautiful island surrounded by striking blue water that presents visitors the unique opportunity to see marine wildlife such as, green sea turtles, nurse sharks and whale sharks. Peace and tranquility, or exciting and adventurous, the decision is yours, all you have to do is buy a raffle ticket, and keep your fingers crossed!
