19 year old shot on Locust Street

VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) —
A 19-year-old was shot in the back just before noon Saturday in Vicksburg, according to radio traffic.
The Vicksburg Police Department and Vicksburg Fire Department responded to the scene, where first responders were treating the victim. AirCare was also notified to assist with the incident. The victim is a black male, and according to VPD, the shooter was wearing a black hoodie with a black ski mask. Investigators on the scene recovered 7-8 shell casings.
Additional details, including the victim’s condition and the circumstances surrounding the shooting, have not yet been released.
