Man found dead in vehicle at Bally’s Casino in Vicksburg

VICKSBURG, Miss.(VDN) — Authorities responded late Tuesday night after a man was found dead inside a vehicle near a Vicksburg hotel and casino.

According to initial reports, the body of a Black male was discovered inside a car at Bally’s Casino. The man is reportedly from Jackson.

Warren County Coroner Doug Huskey responded to the scene and took custody of the body. Preliminary information indicates the man may have suffered from medical issues, and officials believe the death appears to be from natural causes.

Officers with the Vicksburg Police Department were also on scene Tuesday night as part of the investigation.

The deceased has been identified by Huskey, but his name is not being released to the public at this time.
